When a disaster threatens or strikes, the Red Cross provides shelter, food health and mental health services to address the basic human needs. The Red Cross also feeds emergency workers, handles inquiries from concerned family members outside the disaster area, and helps those affected by disaster to access other available community resources. The Thunder Basin Branch maintains close working relationships with local emergency response and human service agencies in order to insure that the needs of disaster victims can be managed efficiently and effectively. We also provide the community with top notch First Aid and CPR/AED training. Among these classes we offer Disaster Preparedness, Pet First Aid, Babysitter’s Training and many other opportunities for community presentations. The American Red Cross serves all. There are no eligibility requirements for disaster services. For our health and safety requirements vary with program and level of instruction.
